Pentagon may fire at least 6,200 civilian employees if sequester continues

If the Pentagon is faced with another year of sequestration, it may have to layoff at least 6,272 members of its civilian workforce, according to Bloomberg. The Defense Contract Management Agency would take the biggest hit under a potential $52 billion budget cut from its fiscal 2014 budget. The Army and Navy would lose about 2,100 and 2,672, from their respective civilian workforces.
